EATING IS NOT DIGESTING

Eating and Digesting are not the same; they are two very different things. Food is the basis of our health, but being healthy depends on Digesting rather than Eating. Simply putting food in the mouth is not digesting it. Putting food in the mouth is hardly of any purpose if you are not digesting it.

Eating but not digesting food, is simply like putting coal in a furnace which is not in a position to ignite properly, and expecting that furnace to produce proper heat.

Food, if digested properly brings health and enhances the natural capacity of the body to fight illness. Food eaten and not digested, brings illness and severely diminishes the natural capacity of the body to fight illness. Result being that you keep growing weak, your reliance on medicine goes on increasing, and with the increased intake of medicine the natural capacity to digest food diminishes further, making your system more weak. This scene of degradation of our natural capacity to digest food has now become such a regular part of the so called 'modern life', that to get rid of it one needs to put in a very persistent and serious effort.

Natural living and the Medicine Free, Healing Systems based on Natural Healing Energies www.viewunderstanding.blogspot.com and dkhcunderstanding.blogspot.com can be of great help in keeping the body's natural ability of digestion in order or to put it back in order.

According to the doctrine of Ayurveda, not digesting food is our first step towards any serious illness, so why not to adopt Natural living and Natural Healing Systems as our first step towards Health; ultimately Health is Happiness.

POSTURE IN MEDITATION

It is very important to be in a correct posture while meditating. It is also important to understand that meditating and sleeping are two different things. All successful meditation takes place in a mentally alert condition, and you are really focused in the act.

You may feel sleepy after meditation, and that, I feel is a good sign by itself. It is good to take a little rest or sleep after meditation.

The correct posture for meditation should ensure that your spine is erect, do not over strain to attain that position, but keep the spine straight in a natural manner. This posture is all the more important when you are meditating to manage internal or meditational energies, or when you are meditating for a spiritual purpose.
